Brazil: A bill authorizing cannabis cultivation submitted to parliament in November.
Bill 399/15, which legalizes the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal and industrial purposes in Brazil by companies and governments, will be voted on in the House in November. The information was confirmed to Cannabis & Saúde by the president of the Special Commission on Cannabis, Paulo Teixeira (PT-SP), and by the advisor to MP Luciano Ducci (PSB-PR), the text’s rapporteur. USA: The city of Oakland wants to do away with THC testing.
