An unexpected yet salutary combination after a day more boring than ever, it wasn’t very difficult to convince two al-colytes to try this experiment; combining the sweetness of a well-chosen resin with that of a good wine.
Hashish, less exciting than cannabis herb, whose intoxication is reminiscent of a break in the sun, deserved a wine that resembled it. Pinot Noir is a light Burgundy, yet it resonates and often brings with it laughter and overheard smiles with a taste of fraternity and connivance.
Smoking and drinking at the same time is the aristocratic (even Japanese) pleasure of the perfect gesture. How can we not talk about love and what makes beautiful things beautiful when all the roads to drunkenness lead to it?
And why not plunge together into a shared memory whose notes, once vague and superfluous, are now vivid and colorful? Why not laugh together at what is now just a funny story for three?
All it took was a couple of good friends, a bit of weather and sunshine, a park to play backgammon in, some good wine in fine glasses and a little of that wonderful local produce, to turn a Tuesday workday into an Indian summer evening with a springtime feel. How sweet it is not to grow up too fast.
