Pizza is probably in the top 3 of the best dishes ever to appear on our planet. Simple, effective, it’s a blank canvas of flour that you paint with your own food. From pineapple to peppercorns, the possibilities are endless.
Today, it’s time to step into the big leagues. We want beauty, we want goodness, we want to travel not through the Italian maze, but through our subconscious, where flavour would be a guide that would take us by the hand and take us where we hadn’t even bothered to think about it.
Can you see me coming? Grab your best herb and pizza dough, it’s time to bake the real toppings of our desires.
METHOD 1: PIZZACANNA
Simply prepare your pizza as you normally would (whether homemade or store-bought) and about 8-10 minutes before it finishes baking, take it out of the oven and sprinkle with herb or hash. Once your pizza has received its cannabis topping, add an extra layer of cheese to the pizza and return it to the oven, reducing the thermostat to allow it to cook through.
Important note: cooking at a temperature above 160°C will cause the THC to vaporize. vaporize the THC, rendering the operation ineffective.
To retain the full potency of the special ingredient, reduce the oven heat to around 120°C and continue baking until the cheese has melted.
METHOD 2: CANNABIS PRONTO PESTO
– Cannabis oil
– 2 cups basil
– 2 cloves garlic
– ¼ cup Parmesan
– Salt, to taste
– Pizza dough, rolled yourself or ready-made
– Sliced tomatoes
– Your favorite toppings
1. Puree the pesto ingredients with the cannabis oil using a blender. If your cannabis oil is rather strong, you can mix it with plain oil.
2. Spread the pesto on a pizza dough and then add your favorite ingredients.
3. Cook the pizza until it browns at medium to low temperature (under 130°C) to avoid vaporizing most of the cannabinoids.
4. Once cooked, bon appétit!
