Cannabis really is a medicinal plant!

Boasting the therapeutic merits of Cannabis on a site called Zeweed is hardly surprising.
But do you know why Weed is so effective in treating depression, hypersensitivity and post-traumatic disorders? We’ll tell you right now.

Po begin, I’d like to point out that I myself have experienced the effects described in this article. After the death of my mother in less than pleasant circumstances, I experienced a number of depressive and manic symptoms linked to post-traumatic stress disorder. I benefited from psychological support, which proved invaluable, but the treatments proposed by the various specialists I consulted at the time turned me into a zombie. I was a shadow of my former self, and even worse, I couldn’t write anymore. A friend concerned about my well-being rebelled and strongly advised me against continuing this treatment. And so, while searching for a substitute to soothe my panic attacks or depression, I discovered that a joint was much better suited to my needs than Xanax (without the addiction). Of course, I had already smoked, but only recreationally and never in distress. 6 months later, I was a few pounds heavier, but also emotionally more balanced.

Now for the practical part: The definition of post-traumatic syndrome covers all those who suffer from a deterioration in their quality of life, perception and emotional stability following a tragic, dangerous or simply traumatic event. This is an impediment to a normal life, since it is the origin of various symptoms such as depression, alcoholism, self-destructive behavior and panic attacks.
It’s impossible to really solve the problem without family, psychological and/or introspective support. Cannabis is a highly effective natural treatment, but it can only meet a need. It can’t help you come to terms with the events you’ve suffered. In short, people with this type of disorder suffer from a deficiency of an endogenous cannabinoid neurotransmitter called Anandamide.
In French, this means that it is produced naturally by humans (and many animals), particularly in the brain area, and is part of our natural chemistry. This neurotransmitter plays a vital role in mood management, promoting other neurotransmitters responsible for happiness and pleasure hormones. Cannabis helps to make up for a shortcoming and does not, as some critics say, simply “postpone the problem”.

It’s the same principle as a mood regulator, but in natural form, so there are no side effects and, above all, no risk of upsetting a precarious balance. On the contrary, the idea is to strengthen your psyche and your body.
More surprisingly, by activating the brain’s CB1 and CB2 receptors, it also awakens buried memories, facilitating their recovery, which is essential for overcoming certain events.
This is yet another opportunity to emphasize the importance of being assisted by someone you trust in any healing process…and of eating chocolate, which contains very low traces of Anandamide.
