The Acabada brand launches a line of CBD-infused sportswear.
It’s no wonder CBD is everywhere. Acabada, a new sports brand, currently targets women only, offering complete outfits: tops, shorts, leggings, jackets, bodysuits and sports bras. What makes it special? The garments are made in Portugal from fabrics containing cannabidiol (CBD), a molecule derived from hemp (THC-free), thanks to a microencapsulation process. For the August 22 launch, prices have been set at $120 for bras and tops, $160 for leggings and $250 for jackets.
This microencapsulation process, which impregnates all clothing, allows tissues to better align with muscles. Each rubbing during exercise releases CBD into the body. In this way, our favorite molecule can regulate and reduce pain and inflammation caused by physical activity.
Each garment contains 25 grams of 99% pure CBD, allowing the CBD to last through 40 high-intensity washing cycles. When the garments can no longer guarantee the expected effect, they can be sustainably recycled, again at Acabada.
